Welcome to Aviemore Scotland
Aviemore
is a village that has given birth to the gradual and exciting growth of
outdoor activities and pursuits evident today. Recognised by all initially,
for it’s famous ski slopes, Aviemore is now a force to be reckoned
with and plays a vital part in the Scottish Tourist Industry.
This is due, in part, to its unique setting in some of the most imposing
and awesome surroundings in the Highlands of Scotland but the Railway
and Queen Victoria’s passionate love of the Highlands have also
helped to put it on the map.
On the doorstep of the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by immense
scenery, Aviemore is a major holiday resort in the Highlands. Aviemore
is an excellent base for exploring the wilderness of the Cairngorms National
Park, covering the mountains, Glenmore, Rothiemurcus Forest and much more.
Get a taste of the big country at Craigellachie - wooded crags which overlooks
the town with a boardwalk to help you reach the heights. In summer keep
an eye out for the peregrine falcons nesting on the crags.
Aviemore in The Cairngorms National Park

car, is a village “for all seasons” firmly set in the 21st
Century. There is a diverse range of pursuits available for tourists and
