Set against a backdrop of lush green mountainous vegetation,
Mabula Game Lodge is set in one of South Africa's finest private
game reserves.
Only two hours North of Johannesburg, this 12000 hectare reserve
is home to an abundance of animal and bird life, including the 'Big-5'.
Exclusive accommodation is provided in our 47 rooms including 3
suites that offer guests every comfort in a scenic natural setting.
Mabula Game Lodge Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in 47 bedrooms with a look that is clean,
simple, elegant and follows an African flavour. Furnishings and
mirrors are a deep Imbuia wood, complemented by rich textures in
the fabrics and blinds, whilst ethnic art dramatically showcases
the walls of the bedroom.

120 guests can be accommodated in these rooms, all rooms are equipped
with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, telephones, flat screen TVs
and most of the rooms enjoy a bush view.

DINING
KO BOJELONG RESTAURANT Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner,
where a buffet is available. During quiet periods, a set menu will be
offered. HOTEL BAR is a fully licensed bar with accompanying lounge and
outside terrace. Open daily from 8:00am – 11:00pm.
CUISINE
Renowned for its world-class cuisine and variety of unusual dining venues,
guests have the choice of dining in the Lodge Restaurant, or for the romantic
at heart, a candle-lit boma dinner under an African sky accompanied by
the rhythmic beat of traditional African dancers.
For special occasions, bush dinners are the ‘order of the day’,
combining the enjoyment of superb food with the tranquillity of the bushveld.
Mabula also boasts superb Indian Cuisine especially prepared by their
authentic Indian Chef. Attention to detail and creative flair is part
and parcel of Mabula Game Lodge’s menu, adding richness and value
to tantalise and accommodate all tastes.

Modern conference facilities have ensured that Mabula Game Lodge is today
one of the hottest 'spots' on the South African Conference and Incentive
Circuit.
With the "Mvubu Deck" overlooking the hippo pool, Mabula offers
a choice of no less than seven venues including the "wildest open-air
boardroom” under the African sky.
Mvubu Deck accommodates a maximum of 80 people and is well suited for
brainstorming, team building or an annual company function. Offering excellent
service and tailor-made activities, conference delegates, incentive and
corporate guests are removed from the stress and strains of everyday life.

Attractions / Activities At and Nearby To Mabula Game Lodge
The Waterberg mountain range snugly cradles the renowned Mabula Private
Game Reserve, which is home to a mosaic of exceptional scenic landscapes
as well as an abundance of wildlife species.
Game viewing is at its best against a backdrop of rivers, streams and
stretches of open vistas. Mammal species include big game such as elephant,
lion, white and black rhino, hippo, leopard and buffalo. African python
and the Nile crocodile are also resident in the reserve which is a bird
watchers' paradise as well.

How To Get To Mabula Game Lodge
By Air:
Mabula has no contracted charter company. Mabula Landing Strip Co-Ordinates:
- Latitude: 24° / 44 min / 94 sec - South
- Longitude: 27° / 55 min / 46 sec - East
- Runway: 32 / 14
- Length: 1 300 meters
- Surface: Dirt and Grass surface
- Elevation: 4285 Feet above sea level
By Road:
Take the N1 freeway towards Pretoria, turn off onto the Pietersburg Highway
and follow the road to Bela Bela (Warmbaths). Take the Bela Bela / Settlers
Codrington off-ramp.
Turn left at yield sign and proceed for ± 5kms to the T-junction
then turn right. Go over the bridge, turn left at the garage and follow
the Thabazimbi road.
Follow the road past Forever Resorts Aventura, down the traffic circle.
At the circle, turn left on the Thabazimbi Rooiberg Road and proceed along
for 34kms.
Lookout for the "Mabula Trading Store", 500m past the store
turn right on Rooiberg Road then follow Mabula Signs for 11kms to Mabula
Gate.
