Our accommodation includes luxury chalets, luxury tented camps and a bush camp. We cater for individuals, families and groups. Our conference center seats up to 150 people and is ideal for corporate meetings and training sessions.
Rooms serviced daily. Bath towels and linens provided. All cutlery and crockery provided. Curio shop with souvenirs, cold drinks and snacks at reception.

Amani
Amani, meaning peace, is what you'll find here within a serene environment. Four chalets that sleep up to 4 people each. Relax on a closed wooden deck that has a magnificent view of the Hanglip Mountain. A swimming pool, jungle gym and volleyball net offers hours of fun for the kids.
(The pool includes a safety net)Although every room is fully equipped for self catering, there is also a large communal kitchen with dining area and a fireplace. There is also a television with satellite dish available.You are welcome to bring your own DSTV decoder and smart card.

Watoto
A luxury tented camp that truly offers the ruggedness of camping with all the luxuries you desire for a comfortable stay. Five tents with 2 bedrooms each, and an adjoining bathroom, sleep up to 4 people.
Each tent has a private braai area and a small kitchenette, fridge and microwave. Every tent has its own outdoor shower! A communal boma and closed off lapa add to the uniqueness of this camp.

Kolobe
3 Rock built, thatched roof chalets that sleep up to 4 people each. This is the perfect camp for a family getaway. Each chalet is equipped with a kitchenette, fridge and microwave.
A communal boma provides the perfect evening in the company of a fire. There's also a fireplace in one of the chalets for that extra warmth. A splash pool provides additional refreshment on those hot summer days.

Rafiki
Rafiki is ideally situated right next to the main complex, giving you direct access to the African Pot restaurant and the conference centre, as well as the curios shop and more. There are 3 units consisting of 2 rooms each with en suite bathrooms. The rooms are divided by a communal kitchen.

Hope Lodge
Hope Lodge is situated within the Shikwaru Country Estate adjacent to Shikwaru Lodge. The luxury of Hope Lodge within the serene environment of the Estate is inspiring, with Nyala and Sable coming almost to the doorstep and magnificent views of the surrounding Waterberg mountains.
The Lodge can accommodate up to 30 people. Great for holiday groups, family get-togethers, conference teams and so much more.

Although fully equipped for self catering, meals can be enjoyed from The African Pot restaurant. Hope Lodge consist of the following:
3 Double bedrooms, 1 Twin Room, 2 Bunker Rooms (10 people each), 2 Bathrooms, 2 Large Bathrooms (en suite to bunker rooms), 2 Kitchens (Fully equipped), Laundry, Enclosed Boma and a Viewing Deck.

Bass Camp
This is truly for adventurous people. No electricity makes this the perfect escape from the city. Solar geysers and gas appliances add to the atmosphere. This is heaven to the enthusiastic angler.
The dam host species like Blackbass, Mozambican tilapia, Red breasted tilapia and Sharp tooth catfish. Bas scamp can accommodate up to 6 people. 1 Double bed, 4 singles, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.

Conference Facilities
The boardroom is ideal for executive meetings and can seat up to 20 people. This spacious room will seat up to 150 people cinema style. Conference standard equipment includes a screen, data projector, sound system, white board and flip chart with markers, 2 bottled waters per person, mints, folders & pens.

The African Pot
This is our restaurant based at the main complex. All our meals for lodge guests are also served here. Great African cuisine. Come and enjoy!
We are well set up for tailor made conferences, company breakaways, team building, reunions, weddings and more. Please note that the restaurant is not licensed.

Weddings
Shikwaru Lodge is the perfect wedding venue, with accommodation on site, the African Pot restaurant to cook up a feast and magical Bushveld surroundings.

Team building is a great companion with any conference. We have a variety of activities at our ropes course that can be combined in any way to suit your needs.

How To Get To Shikwaru Lodge

From Johannesburg / Pretoria
Follow the N1 North towards Polokwane. Pass through the Pumulani, Carousel and Kranskop tollgates and take the Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) off ramp on to the R101. Proceed straight through Mookgopong towards Mokopane(Potgietersrus) for 33km.
Take the Sterkrivier turnoff on the left hand side. After 7km you'll find the Shikwaru Lodge turnoff on the right. Buzz in at the intercom and follow the gravel road and the signs for about 3km unto the Shikwaru Lodge main gate on right hand side. Buzz in again.

From Polokwane / Mokopane
Take the N1 South towards Pretoria. Take the Mokopane(Potgietersrus) turnoff on to the R101. Head straight through Mokopane towards Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) for about 17km. Take the Sterkrivier turnoff to your right.
After 7km you'll find the Shikwaru Lodge turnoff on the right. Buzz in at the intercom and follow the gravel road and the signs for about 3km unto the Shikwaru Lodge main gate on right hand side. Buzz in again.
