Standard Suites
The standard configuration includes two twin beds and in a limited number of rooms it is possible for to offer a king size bed. It is also possible to introduce a third bed into the room in the event that a child / children wish to share with parents. It is not possible to add a fourth bed.
Ivory Tree Game Lodge boasts 59 suites. Each suite features a mini bar fridge, tea / coffee facilities, covered patio, en-suite bathroom, outside shower and air conditioners which provide cooling and heating.

Ivory Tree has included a dedicated conference room among its facilities. Please enquire into the availability of conference room equipment before concluding your conference planning. There is a class room type layout and makes provision for 70 delegates. In our opinion, however, 80 delegates seated in this configuration would be the maximum possible.

If the idea of another routine game lodge experience raises little more than a sigh, gets you running to the doctor for a sick note, meeting with the reserve bank for assistance with payment, and where some lazy lodge manager tells you what you can't do, then this is just the answer for you.
During conferences and Incentives at our lodges we are frequently approached by groups enquiring about participation in conservation exercises.

This often results in game drives being amended or cancelled to permit adequate session time. For this reason we would welcome the opportunity of presenting a tailor-made itinerary. The range of camps and capacity will ensure that your next conference or incentive provides the best experience yet.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge Gathering / Meeting Areas

The central areas include two lounges, the bar and cocktail lounge, a multi-tiered dining room, the conference facility and open air boma. The central areas were designed using a double volume style to ensure impressive views of the surrounding amphitheater. The large swimming pool has been positioned between the lodge and the new completed water hole.

How To Get To Ivory Tree Game Lodge

Leave Johannesburg driving past Lanseria Airport (0km) towards Hartebeespoort Dam (suggested routes either William Nicol or Hans Strydom roadways). At the T-junction of Broederstroom ( fruit stall in front of you ) turn left.

(29.7km) Follow signs to Sun City turning right taking the bridge over the dam, (35.5km) at 4 way stop turn left ( takes you past Chameleon Village ) and at (40.7km) follow signs to Brits N4 Rustenburg taking you onto the N4.

Once on the N4 Toll road, take the 1st off ramp (55.2km) for Pilanesberg / Sun City, turn right over the Highway continuing as though traveling to Sun City (+/- 80km) going through at least four 4-way stops.

(105.0km) Follow brown "Ivory Lodge" sign At a 4 way stop with a Golden Era sign off to the right , turn right to "Northam" on the R510.
Continue along until you pass an industrial area on your left, soon after turn left (127.0km) follow brown "Ivory Lodge" sign to Mogwase and Pilanesberg.

(131.4km) At second stop street with a Caltex garage on the corner turn right to Pilanesberg, Manyane & Bakgatla Gates follow brown "Ivory Lodge" sign. Continue until you hit a T-Junction (144.6km) follow brown "Ivory Lodge" sign.
Turn left to Bakgatla Gate and George Stegman Hospital, continue along this road which takes you to our driveway which is a huge thatched yellow entrance taking the right hand entrance to the lodge.
