Non skiers may come and enjoy a unique South African snow experience, making snowmen, throwing snow balls or tobogganing making it the perfect family holiday for young and old.

Summer activities include some of SA’s best fly fishing, mountain biking, quad biking, the famous 8 passes route for motorcyclists and alpine hiking. There are more species of alpine flowers than found elsewhere in the country.

Tiffindell Ski Resort Accommodation

Tiffindell's guests are accommodated in centrally heated rooms within 100 meter of the slope and the main lodge. There is a choice of private chalets, family chalets, en-suite luxury suites or the option of luxury 6, 8 or 10 sleeper self-catering accommodation. All bedding, linen, towels and amenities are supplied. Tea and coffee is supplied in all accommodation.

Private Chalets
Each Private Chalet consists of two rooms with a shared bathroom and separate toilet. One room has a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. There are also two bench beds available in the sitting area, suitable for small children. These chalets are suitable for 4 – 6 people.

Family Chalets
The Family Chalet consists of four rooms with a shared bathroom (shower) and separate toilet. Two rooms have a double bed and the other two have two single beds in each. These chalets are suitable for 6 – 8 people.

Leisure Chalets
6 Sleeper: The accommodation consists of two rooms: a double en-suite room, a room with two single beds and a double sleeper couch in an open plan area. The chalet also offers a full bathroom, open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as a boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

10 Sleeper: In one of the chalets the upper level accommodation consists of one room with a double bed and three with two single beds in each. In the other chalet, the upper level consists of a room with a double bed, one with two single beds and an open plan area with two single beds with two pull outs.

The upper level accommodation all shares two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath. The ground floor in both chalets offer an open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge and guest toilet, as well as a boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer. These chalets are suitable for 10 – 12 people.

8 Sleeper: These chalets are suitable for 8 people. A minimum of 6 people must be booked. All Leisure Chalets are equipped with TV's and DVD players.

Tiffindell Mountain Suites
The Tiffindell Mountain Suites are situated in front of the private chalets, overlooking the beautiful, tranquil valley below. Each Suite consists of two single beds, which can be pushed together to create a double, with en-suite bathroom, leading onto a balcony. The Suite also offers a coffee/tea station and TV.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Snow - Tiffindell's advanced snowmaking system combined with modern grooming machines ensures excellent skiing conditions. Snowmaking currently covers in excess of 1000 meter of ski runs for about 3 month of the year during an average winter. A snow fun-park with rails and jumps has been built for the more adventures ski and snowboard enthusiasts.

Packages

Tiffindell Ski Resort offers 3 and 4 night packages, Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Sunday respectively. Packages are priced per person per package and NOT per person per night. All packages are inclusive of:

· Slope and Lift Pass.
· Resort Entertainment.
· Emergency Medical Assistance.
· Ski or Snowboard Equipment Hire.
· Accommodation in centrally heated chalets/suites.
· Breakfast and Dinner (Excluded on Self Catering option).
