When you enter the Earth Spa you are transported into an amazing sanctuary - a place that reflects the magic of Limpopo with its natural surroundings enhancing your Earth Spa experience.

With its world class facilities consisting of a superbly equipped fitness studio, outdoor pool, sauna and steam room, sun bed and three treatments rooms the Earth Spa offer a diverse range of treatments and therapies from facials to specialised massage therapy.

We specialize in children's parties - with different themes, birthday cakes and Kiddies gift boxes available together with a jumping castle, jungle gym, self-drive toy cars and other fun activities.

About Tzaneen Country Lodge:
If you come to see the Northern Lowveld of South Africa, you have chosen the ideal base. We are the hub of the Limpopo Lowveld and Drakensberg.
We are the centre of the major tropical fruit farms, forestry game farms and game reserves of our country. The Drakensburg which begins in the Eastern Cape ends here.
The Soutpansberg Mountains are 90kms away and the Kruger Park 45 minutes. The largest portion of the Kruger is at our doorstep. The greatest area of private game reserves, both small and gigantic, are our neighbours. We lie at the foothills of the mountains that rise 1500 meters in 30 kilometres.

Jurassic Park is on our doorstep. The Modjadji Cycad Reserve is the largest concentration of a single cycad species in the world. We have the second largest baobab in our country, the largest remnant of indigenous forest in our country, mountain grasslands and spectacular views.

Around us is fine scenery of vast contrast, highland and lowland, forest and savannah, cool and moist, hot and dry all within a radius of 50 kilometres.
Canopy Tours, Canyoning, quad bike trails, abseiling, rock climbing, tubing, white water rafting, magnificent golf courses, crocodile farms, reptile parks, elephants safari’s, game reserves, wild life rehabilitation centres and many more are all within easy reach.

The closest airport to us is Tzaneen Airport which is 2km from Tzaneen Country Lodge. We offer a shuttle service to and from Tzaneen Airport, please make those arrangements with our reception.

• OR hambo International Airport (JHB) to Phalaborwa Airport (60min flight) (60min drive from airport to hotel)
• OR Tambo International Airport (JHB) to Hoedspruit Airport (60min flight) (60min drive from airport to hotel)
• Wonderboom National Airport (PTA) to Tzaneen Airport (50min flight) (2min drive from airport to hotel)

By Road
GPS co ordinates: 23° 49' 04" South - 30° 18' 11" East
Directions from Johannesburg (420kms)
• Take the N1 North from Johannesburg to Polokwane
• Take the R71 from Polokwane to Tzaneen
• We are 16km from Tzaneen on the R71 to Phalaborwa

Directions from Hoedspruit (100kms)
• Take the R40 to Mica/Phalaborwa
• Turn left on the R526 at the T-Junction ( 6km after Mica)
• Drive 58km till you reach the next 4-way stop and go straight
• Drive 12km till you reach the second 4-way stop go straight
• Tzaneen Country Lodge will be on your left 150m after that 4-way stop

We are in one of the most beautiful regions in South Africa; the Tzaneen Country Lodge is also only 84 km from the Phalaborwa Gate of the Kruger National Park. We are centrally located to explore the beauty and magic of Limpopo, Modjadji's Kingdom of the Rain Queen.
