The Charm City Motel is ideally situated on the cnr of Takalvan and Grimwood Streets, Bundaberg. We are conveniently located to Bundabergs major hospitals, local clubs, restaurants and sporting grounds. James and Leanne Barber welcome all vistors, tourists, corporate travellers, couples, families, sporting and tour groups to Bundaberg with accommodation choices of our Deluxe standard rooms, Family unit or our 4 star fully self contained Studio spa apartments. Our fresh comfortable rooms are great value for overnight travellers or longer term stays.  We pride ourselves on great service, hospitality and quality comfortable rooms.

Rooms

Studio Spa Apartment- AAA rated 4 Star units have an open plan living area with a king bed, dining and lounge area. Fully equipped kitchen and large, easily accessible shower and toilet. Full laundry is also located in each unit.

Standard Room- all our standard rooms have microwaves, airconditioning, and are self contained, clean and comfortable. Bedding configuration is 1 queen bed and 1 single bed.

Family Room- our well appointed family unit is clean and comfortable with the advantage of having its own washing machine and dryer. This room has one double bed in the combined kitchen and bedroom and 1 single and 1 single bunk bed in a second bedroom.

Double Room- our double rooms are a smaller room which are located upstairs. They are clean and comfortable and great value for the astute traveller.

Directions to Charm City Motel

Our motel is situated on Bundabergs main thorough fare cnr Takalvan and Grimwood Streets. 

By car
From the South via Childers, continue along the Isis Highway which becomes Takalvan Street. We are located on the crn of Takalvan and Grimwood streets. Approaching Bundaberg from the North,Gin Gin Highway,cross the Tallon Bridge, turn right at the traffic lights and continue approximately 600 meters along the main road and our motel is on your right.(you will need to do a u-turn at the island a few meters along.) 

By air
Located only 5 minutes from the airport. Qantaslink provides several flights daily from Brisbane direct to Bundaberg (flight time approximately 1 hour). Taxi's available from airport. 

By train
Located only 5 minutes from the train station. Queensland Rail provides northern services from Brisbane, and southern services from Cairns and Rockhampton (approximate travel time between 3 and 5 hours). Taxi's available from station.
