We are located on Nebo Road, convenient to Mackays major sporting facilities, clubs, shopping centres, base hospital, train station and airport. The Coral Cay Resort provides an a la carte restaurant complemented by our popular bar, sparkling in ground pool and barbeque facilities. We also cater for wedding parties, social clubs and other group bookings.

2 Bedroom Suites-  2 bedrooms with a separate living and dining area. The main room has a queen bed and the second room contains either a queen bed or two singles. Reverse cycle air conditioning, local and Austar television channels, tea and coffee making facilities.

Two Bedroom Self Contained Unit-  2 bedrooms with a separate living/dining area. The main room has a queen bed and the second room contains either a queen bed or two singles. The kitchenette facilities in this room contain a full sized fridge, microwave, cook top, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. Ricycle air con.

Two Bedroom Apartment- 2 upstairs bedrooms. The main bedroom has one king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom in this apartment is also located upstairs. 

Family Self Contained Suite- motel style suite with queen bed and 2 single beds plus kitchenette facilities in the one room. The kitchenette facilities contain a full sized fridge, microwave, cook top, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities.

Three Bedroom Apartment- 3 bedrooms with a separate living and bathroom. Two of the rooms contain a queen bed and the third room has two single beds. The kitchenette facilities in this room contain a full size fridge, microwave, cook top and toaster plus tea and coffee making facilities.

Restaurant

Food and drink is something we take seriously at the Coral Cay Resort, we pride ourselves in providing high quality service when dining at CCs Restaurant. Whether it is a light lunch, a good coffee or a five star degustation. Our pleasant outdoor climate and abundance of fresh produce gives our seasonal menu fantasic variety. CCs Restaurant is open 7 days a week with the option of alfresco dining on our pool deck or inside in the cool air conditioned comfort.

Functions

Coral Cay Resort takes pride in offering the best available service and hospitality.  We cater for all functions, corporate events, meetings, high teas and social events. 

Boardroom-  contains a large rectangle board table and eight comfortable executive style high backed chairs. The boardroom is seperated from the carriage room with acoustic folding doors and a small patio is accessible from this room for breakout sessions.

Carriage Room- the carriage room like the Boardroom is located upstairs on the first floor of the main reception building and is not accessible by lift.The décor is elegant and the room has its own airconditioning and controls. A small patio is accessible from this room which can be used for breakout sessions.

By car
The Bruce Highway is a coastal highway between Brisbane and Cairns and passes through Mackay. The Peak Downs Highway runs from Clermont North-East to terminate in Mackay.

By boat
Mackay it has a extensive marina is often the first stop for those exploring the Whitsunday Islands but no regular passenger ferries.

By bus
Greyhound bus lines have regular services from Brisbane stopping at airport and in Mackay itself on the way to Cairns and vice versa.
