Things To Do

Mount Archer National Park- there is no better way to begin your exploration of Rockhampton than to drive to the top of its highest peak. From the Mount Archer summit you will see spectacular panoramic views of the city, Fitzroy River, the inland ranges and Capricorn Coast.

Koorana Crocodile Park- queenslands first crocodile farm and home to 3,000 of natures oldest children, weighing in from 100g to 800kg, guided tours are available daily at 10.30am and 1.00pm.

The Great Western Hotel- this iconic hotel in the heart of the city holds weekly rodeos for those after a taste of the country. You have to experience the truly Australian atmosphere of The Great Western Hotel. Rockhamptons premier entertainment venue and concert arena.

Byfield National Park- home to the rare Byfield Fern (Bohemia Serrata). The major waterway, Waterpark Creek, is host to ancient and towering remnant rainforest and many birds and animals. Outstanding coastal scenery, massive sand dunes and rugged pinnacles.

Great Keppel Island- cruising to great keppel Island is half the fun coral viewing, fish feeding, snorkelling and swimming. When you arrive, enjoy bush walking, bird watching.

Directions to Discover Holiday Parks

From Brisbane
From the south, follow the highway into Rockhampton. The highway becomes George Street. Turn right into Albert Street until you get to the Fitzroy River Bridge. Bolsover Street is the last street on the left before the bridge. Turn left at the lights. We are 20 metres on your right.

From Rockhampton Airport
We are only 3 kms from Rockhampton Airport. Leave the airport, drive along Hunter Street into North Street, continue through the roundabouts, cross the railway line. When you get to the traffic lights, turn right (Bolsover Street). We are 50 metres on the left.

From Mackay
From the north, travel along the highway into Yaamba Road. Drive under the pedestrian walkway until you reach the traffic lights at the Stockland Shopping Centre. Continue until you cross the Fitzroy River bridge and take the first turn right. (Bolsover Street) We are 20 metres on the right.
