Rockhampton is also the Beef Capital of Australia and hosts a triennial Beef Week expo which attracts cattle industry people from all across the globe. The event showcases the virtual Paddock to Plate capabilities of the Central Queensland industry.  Gracemere Saleyards is located on the Western Edge of the city and many thousands of Cattle are sold throughout the facility each year.

Accommodation

Our property comprises 38 ground floor units.  We have 2 Family Suites that sleep up to 5 people and which have a separate queen bedroom, large lounge with double sofa and single bed, and equipped with a full kitchen.

Twin Share- all units are Non-smoking and have large LCD flat screen televisions, Foxtel, Free wireless internet and Tea or Coffee making facilities and mini bars.

Queen Bed- all units are non smoking and have large LCD flat screen televisions, Foxtel, Free wireless internet and Tea or Coffee making facilities and mini bars.

Family Suites- that sleep up to 5 people and which have a separate queen bedroom, large lounge with double sofa and single bed, and equipped with a full kitchen.

Functions
Glenmore Palms Motel offers a range of different function packages. Whether it be a sit down 3 course meal or a cocktail party with a DJ and room to move. We can cater from anywhere between 10 to 60 people. We have equipment such as ipod dock with speakers.

Glenmore Palms Motel specialises in small to medium conferences that can seat up to 30 people (dependant on the table configurations required). We offer a range of catering packages including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner options.

Directions to Glenmore Palms Motel

From Brisbane
From the south, follow the highway into Rockhampton. The highway becomes George Street. Turn right into Albert Street until you get to the Fitzroy River Bridge. Bolsover Street is the last street on the left before the bridge. Turn left at the lights. We are 20 metres on your right.

From Rockhampton Airport
We are only 3 kms from Rockhampton Airport. Leave the airport, drive along Hunter Street into North Street, continue through the roundabouts, cross the railway line. When you get to the traffic lights, turn right (Bolsover Street). We are 50 metres on the left.

From Mackay
From the north, travel along the highway into Yaamba Road. Drive under the pedestrian walkway until you reach the traffic lights at the Stockland Shopping Centre. Continue until you cross the Fitzroy River bridge and take the first turn right. (Bolsover Street) We are 20 metres on the right.
