Kurrimine Beach is an unspoilt tropical holiday destination.  The spirit and hospitality of old North Queensland is still alive in this picturesque fishing hamlet. 

The quiet, long, beach alongside King Reef is the main attraction and it’s here that you can see Manta Rays trawling the beach shallows and turtles coming in to nest. Pick up a fresh coconut from the palms that line the beach or for the more adventurous go in search of the famous King Reef Painted Cray. Our small town boasts a winery, a beachfront pub, a cafe, an old fashioned fish and chip shop, a post office, petrol station and general store. The next time you are in our part of the world, take your time, turn off the highway and drive down our road, you’ll be glad you did.

Family Beach Houses Our large, modern Family Beach Houses are our top of the range accommodation. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has four single bunks and for those extra large families there is also a double sofa bed in the main living area.

Two Bedroom Villas Our two bedroom villas offer spacious family accommodation. With two different bedding configurations just select the option that suits your family.

Ensuite Park Cabins Our budget conscious ensuite cabins are perfect for a short break. These open plan cabins are totally self contained and provide comfortable accommodation for small families or couples.

Camping and Caravan Sites We are a small, friendly caravan park with only 42 sites.   We highly recommend booking ahead during the busy winter months and on long weekends.  All of our sites are powered and have sullage and water, most have concrete slabs.   We can offer a selection of sunny or shady sites.

Wheelchair Friendly Beach House Our Wheelchair Friendly Beach House offers our top of the range accommodation for guests with restricted mobility.  The main bedroom has a king bed (can also be used as twin singles), the second bedroom has single bunk beds.  With a full wheelchair friendly bathroom with roll in shower, shower seat, handrails and ample manouvering space together with an access ramp we hope we have thought of everything you require for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Deluxe Cabins Our 1 bedroom cabins are perfect for small families or couples who love the privacy and space that a separate bedroom allows.

Deluxe Couple Cabins Our 1 bedroom couples chalet is great for couples or two friends who love the privacy and space that a separate bedroom allows.

Beach Shacks Our new eco-friendly Beach Shacks are a great fun alternative to camping.  They are a small one room cabin without a kitchen, ensuite, etc.  Our four Beach Shacks have their own communal amenities block and camp kitchen. Essentially they are a one room cabin that is one step up from bringing a tent or caravan.  Think of this as a camping experience but with a comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and the option of air-conditioning.

Each Beach Shack has a Double Bed and a set of single bunk beds. Each bed is provided with a matress protector, pillow and doona. You will need to bring all of your own sheets and towels. With 4 Beach Shacks available in their own section of the park why not get a group of friends or family together and have a private area and facilities for a weekend break or holiday.

By Car Take Aerodrome Rd and River Ave to National Highway A1 in Mighell, Head east on Aerodrome Rd toward Mundoo Rd, Turn left onto Wangan-South Johnstone Rd, Continue onto River Ave, Turn left onto National Highway A1. Continue on Murdering Point Rd. Drive to Coyle St in Kurrimine Beach, Turn left onto Murdering Point Rd (signs for Kurrimine Beach), Turn right onto Waldock Rd, Turn left onto Tanner Rd, Continue onto Coyle St, Destination will be on the right.
