Our backpackers hostel is designed for travellers who want a relaxed, fun and cheap place to stay in the central city.

Unlike other hostels in Cairns, Esplanade Backpackers is located opposite the waterfront, and offers a wide variety of accommodation styles, including a female only accommodation, dorm beds and private rooms.

The backpackers hostel is located on The Esplanade in Cairns. The Esplanade is a wonderful spot for backpackers to base themselves as it is only 100 metres from the Lagoon, minutes away from bar’s, clubs, restaurants and of course just a short boat ride away from the Great Barrier Reef.

The hostel features spacious, air conditioned dorms and private rooms, a communal kitchen, lounge areas to meet other backpackers and a pool to keep you amused. This gives the hostel a wonderful relaxing feel and great place to stay for just a few days or for long term.
