Potters Old Brickworks Brasserie -With both indoor and outdoor dining areas, a Lounge Bar with a roaring winter-warming fire, and a range of delicious menu options, the Brickworks Brasserie has it all.

The Brasserie can cater for all reservations, from an intimate table for two, to parties for birthdays and family get togethers, with a casual dining ambience and proximity to the fabulous children's playground, Potters suits everyone's needs. Our courtesy bus will also pick you up and make sure you get home safely. Seating 11 people it makes it easy to organise a group lunch or dinner event at Potters Hotel Brewery Resort.

Our Pub -Located in the heart of Wine Country, Potters offers a casual place to rest from the activities of the region, to sit and enjoy a perfectly brewed ale or lager from our own Brewery - the Hunter Beer Co. Our gaming facilities include a state of the art TAB which allows you to bet on any sport, anywhere in the world, and there's always the latest events on the massive flat screen televisions.

Our Locals Members enjoy the longest Happy Hour - from 4pm to 7pm every Monday to Friday! Come in and sign up, relax and enjoy the great beer, great food and great atmosphere of Potters.

Events at Potters

Fridays at Potters we have Live Entertainment from 7pm. Who will be on this Friday? Come along and find out - it could be a band, a duo or soloist. The entertainment is fresh and fun, guaranteed to get you up and dancing!

Saturdays at Potters are fabulous, with DJ and Karaoke from 8pm in the main bar. Laugh along with your friends as you sing your favourite tunes, and dance the night away.

In addition to our regular entertainment, we always have great specials at different times of the year, join up to keep up to date with the latest happenings at the best place for entertainment in the Hunter Valley.

Brewery

The Hunter Beer Co. is located just next to the Hotel here at Potters and operates seven days a week, producing a range of beers that are world renown and multiple award winning, a must see-and-do for all beer lovers!

The Brewery produces several signature beers such as the Hunter Kolsch and Hunter Witbier and also seasonal beers such as the Chocolate Porter and Christmas Cheer. Our Brewers love making these fabulous beers, so we hope you'll love tasting them.Stop by and say hi! Try a beer and even take some home with you, it's a refreshing change from all the wine, and well worth the visit!

Directions to Potters Hotel and Brewery

Plane

Cessnock Airport is the nearest gateway in the region that offers charter and helicopter flights only. Visitors from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane can take a flight going to Newcastle Airport for approximately an hour. Newcastle Airport which serves domestic flights is the second convenient gateway to reach Cessnock for an hour drive. The hotel is just near Cessnock Airport.

Trains and Buses

Take a train from Sydney Central going either to the stations in Maitland, Morisette or Newcastle. These three stations has connecting coaches going to Hunter Valley, Cessnock. Travel duration depends on the station prefered by passengers. It is advisable to check train timetables to plan ahead your journey.

Car

There are various routes from Sydney that could take you to Cessnock and the Hunter Valley Region. Drive north to Sydney Harbour Bridge and continue to the National Highway. Take the M1-Pacific Motorway going towards Newcastle and take the exit Freemans Drive- B 82 going to Nulkaba. Visitors who are opt for wine tasting must have a reliable driver since the country has strict drinking laws that are policed throughout the region.
