Dedicated to Hollywood screen legend Humphrey Bogart you can choose to dine inside alongside rustic antique furnishings or on the outside deck overlooking Townsville's world class beach promenade.

Things To Do

Townsville- nowhere else in the world will you find the fascinating diversity of nature as in North Queensland. In just hours you can move from lush rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef and on to the Outback.

The Strand- a wonderful stretch of sand and inviting tropical water are just across the road. The strand stretches over about 3 km. The area boasts parks, grassland, shops and restaurants.

The Rock Pool- the rock pool is also directly opposite the Shore Drive Motel. The sheltered environment is an engineering marvel. Sea water is constantly pumped into the pool, after being strained from marine life and stingers into a natural beach setting. 

Jezzines Redevelopment- the retired Jezzines Military Barracks is under redevelopment and is due for comletion in Dec2013. The new park dvelopment will include family park and picnic or BBQ areas, an outdoor stage and walking tracks. The military musem and WW2 gun emplacements have been retained.

Townsville airport is located approximately 6.5km from the centre of the city.  The Airport Shuttle bus undertakes scheduled services to various hotels and motels, the Strand and City, Sunferries and the Transit Centre. Bookings are required to be made for all pickups as some services only operate if required.
