Canberra South Motor Park features, self contained furnished cabins, motel, caravans and camp sites, all perfectly locationed in Australia's capital Canberra and close to Fyshwick and Symonston.

Balcony Cabins

Type 1 Features a small balcony and can accommodates up to 6 guests. Cabin is 2 bedroom, with a queen size bed in main bedroom and four single bunks in second bedroom. Lounge area, Reverse cycle air-conditioning , large fridge, toaster, kettle, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Gas cooking hotplates , microwave, TV, DVD, iron, ironing board and hairdryers. The queen size bed in the main bedroom in made up and all bedding for the second bedroom is supplied. Cabins are not serviced during stay. Fresh towels may be issued on request but a charge may apply.

Type 2 Accommodates up to 4-5 guests. Two bedroom, main room queen size bed, second bedroom two single beds, fold out bed in lounge area. All bedding is supplied for the queen bed and singles. If fold out lounge is required you will need to bring your own bedding.

Type 3 Suitable for 2 couples, queen bed in main bedroom with a double bed in second bedroom. All bedding is supplied for both beds. All other conditions apply as Type 1.

Special Cabins The Special Cabins are suitable for couples with 2 bedrooms. Main bedroom has a double bed and bedding is supplied. Second bedroom has a single bunk bed over double. We do not supply the bedding for the bunk bed. This cabin also has a small gas heater. All other conditions apply as balcony cabins.

Standard 2 Bedrooms The Standard 2 Bedroom can accommodate up to 6 guests, double bed in main bedroom, four single bunk beds in second bedroom. All bedding is supplied . All modern conveniences as deluxe cabins. Has a large fridge and full stove, older style cabin but very clean and comfortable with colour television, and ensuite.

Budget Ensuite Budget Ensuite Cabins are suitable for couples or small families with a double bed in living area. Small second room with four bunks (not suitable for adults). You are required to provide all bedding for this cabin (ie. blankets,sheets pillows and towels). The kitchenette has cooktop, fridge, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave, TV and air-conditioning.

Powered Sites The Powered Sites are close to amentities, park kiosk and bistro. Rates based on 1 - 2 people.

Unpowered Camp Sites Unpowered Camp Sites have shady spot close to barbeque facilities. Rates based on 1 - 2 people.

Directions to South Motor Park

By Plane Canberra International Airport only serve flights from Melbourne and Sydney. There are flights almost hourly to Sydney and frequent flights to Melbourne. It takes approximately 50 minutes from Sydney, 1 hour from Melbourne, 2 hours from Brisbane and Adelaide, and 4 hours from Perth. The hotel is a 20 minute ride from Canberra.

By Train There are a lot of train connections offers scenic route going to Canberra from Sydney. The train rides takes 4 to 5 hours. Melbourne trains also serve routes going to Canberra.

By Bus All coaches from Canberra stop at the Jolimont Centre, in the city centre and immediately across the road from the Canberra local bus interchange.

By Car The drive from Sydney to Canberra is 290 km and takes around three and a half hours from the Sydney CBD, less from outer suburbs in Sydney. The drive from Melbourne to Canberra is 650 km and takes roughly eight hours on the Hume and Barton Highways, again mostly on dual-carriageway roads.
