We are a small (65 bed) hostel with a difference. Small and personal with a quirky atmosphere, catering more for people who like to travel away from the big crowds and party houses.

To give you a feeling of home we provide ample communal areas. Two fully equipped kitchens that are open 24 hours, a comfortable TV room with cable TV and a large selection of movies as well as games and a well stocked library for those relaxed enough to enjoy a good book. A large backyard with a BBQ make Tokyo Village the perfect inner city retreat.

Frequented by cyclists, motorcycle riders and the guy who rides his scooter from Cairns to Perth.

Located a short walk (5-7 minutes depending on the length of your legs) from Central Station Tokyo Village is ideally located to access the city, beaches , colleges as well as work locations.

A swimming pool and tennis courts are, well not on the premises as some badly researched ,but 1 minute walk in Prince Alfred Park across the road. Car Parking is readily available on the street, motorbikes and bicycles can safely be parked on the premises. Internet is available on PC as well as Wifi. In order to control traffic and maintain a high speed download connection a small fee is being charged.

A laundry with washing machines and dryer as well as a solar powered clothes line are available.

Dormitories
Our dormitories are single sex as well as mixed couples dorms. The rooms are airy with plenty of natural light, some have private balconies. Since we consider dormitories as places to rest we do not provide TVs or fridges in those rooms.

Double Rooms
Our double or twin rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, desk, sink and TV. A limited number of single rooms are available appointed to the same standard as our double rooms.
