The newly relaunched Yongala Lodge Restaurant is rapidly developing a reputation as the place to go for divine food and premium service.  Located just minutes from Townsvilles CBD and merely 80m from The Strand, the Yongala Lodge Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for dinner.

Guests can choose from two unique dining precincts alfresco style on the lodge’s breezy front veranda or in the historic dining room boasting traditional Queenslander features. We believe in using only the freshest local produce and quality ingredients.  An extensive wine menu is offered for you to find the perfect glass to complement your meal.

Functions

Yongala Lodge is recipe of divine food and superior service makes it the perfect place to hold your next function.  Whether it’s an intimate dinner for six, a small conference or a wedding for 80 guests, Yongala Lodge can tailor a package to meet your specific requirements and budget.

The Historic Dining Room with a seating capacity for 100 guests perfect for weddings, small conferences and networking events
The Starboard room perfect for stand up cocktail events or intimate dinners with use of the Deck
The Port Room perfect for stand up cocktail events or intimate dinners with use of the Deck
The Deck perfect for stand up events
Or you can reserve both the Starboard and Port rooms

By Plane
Townsville airport is located approximately 6.5km from the centre of the city.  The Airport Shuttle bus undertakes scheduled services to various hotels and motels, the Strand and City, Sunferries and the Transit Centre. Bookings are required to be made for all pickups as some services only operate if required.

By Bus
Greyhound has bus services that operate south to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and north to Cairns, stopping at most towns and cities in between.Premier Motor Service has bus services that operate south to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and north to Cairns, stopping at most towns and cities in between. Oz Experience offers a jump on, jump off bus service that operates south to Sydney and Brisbane and north to Cairns stopping at limited places along the way.
