Friendly reception staff |
Stopping over at Dumela Lodge was okay, the staff
at reception was friendly and food was not to bad. There is a bit
worries about the tents, you can see clearly that they are old and
I would expect it to be replaced soon. It seems like there is also
a safety concern seeing as there was always n guard watching out
tents. I don't think this place is bad for a stop over, but if you
want a holiday, I suggest something else. |

DSTV in the tented accommodation.... |
DSTV in tented accommodation? oh yes!! The rooms
were nice and tidy. They laid out mattresses for our 2 kids and
that took up about all of the space in the room, wish they had family
rooms. Even though it was not the Lodge's fault, we had the option
in taking 2 rooms or just one with mattresses for the children.
The staff is kind of very friendly, I recommend if you are a wine
lover to bring your own as they do not sell in bottles. The food
was good. There is no long chairs by the pool so there was no chance
of relaxing by the pool, not that we wanted to either because the
pool was so filthy. |

A bit crowded! |
We stopped over for the night, we were 4 , 2 adults
and 2 children. We all slept in one tent and it was a bit tight,
the tent is perfect for 2 people. The tents were clean and the personnel
were great. It is a nice and peaceful lodge as it is a bit out of
town but it is not to big of an issue. I recommend this lodge, and
would love to come back. |
