Reviews of Cresta Lodge in Gaborone Botswana

I had to stay here for work for about 2 weeks, the lodge is clean and delightful. There was a few things that was a bit unpleasant, my wifi only seemed to work in my bathroom, and it was only mine, none of the other guests had that problem, it might have been that i did not have reception in my room. And for people breakfast was a bit over prised if you had to pay it separate from your room rates. Staff was well trained and helpful. The food was great, took a while to get to us but it was worth the wait, the area of the lodge was laid out nice and facilities are good. There was also a fridge in the room if you wanted to keep anything in it like snacks or so, there was a shoppong centre next to the lodge if you needed to buy anything, there's also some curio shops around and a few ATM's if you needed to use one.

The Hotel had one of the most dirtiest pool i have ever seen, Breakfast was unbelievably expensive, and the staff had no interest in following our order correctly, one of the guests was allergic to tomatoes and they had to send back the food 3 times before they gave him his breakfast without tomato, and the rest had to wait for more than an hour before they got served. The wifi was not available at all which was irritating, and the poor reception ladies were very helpful and friendly and they had such bad working hours. It didn't seem like anyone cared for the maintenance of the hotel seeing that the drawers were broken and the showers overflowed.
