Wanted to stay longer... |
Our chalet that we stayed in had 2 bedrooms and
an indoor bath. We only had one night that we could stay over, what
a pity. I wouldn't have minded having the chalets with the outdoor
shower. The area and the facilities was just ravishing. There was
a beautiful bar and lounge are next to the swimming pool. The lounge
area was the social spot at the lodge were you could mingle with
all the guests, and what was great, was that it was always nice
and warm in the evenings and cool during the days. The workers was
very nice and always there to help and everything was always spotless.
Not to mention the food, it was just marvellous!!! dinner and breakfast
was delicious. we really had a great time at this lodge and will
return ASAP. |

relaxing at the lodge |
On our way to Maun we decided to stop over at Gweta
lodge. We didn't go on any game drives or anything, we just relaxed
and got to see more of gweta and how nice the people are. The accommodation
was nice clean and airy. The bathrooms were nice and big too. The
staff was brilliant in what they do and food was spectacular. The
filling station there does not have petrol however the lodge was
able to help us so we didn't have to drive to nata for fuel. |

A great place to stay
at. |
The staff made this Lodge just a great place to
stay at. All the people, gusts and staff included, was just so nice
and polite. There was a nice bar and pool area that we could go
and chill out. The food was just mind blowing!!!! the best I ever
had in the whole of Botswana. It was so nice, I was taken into town
by one of the staff members from the lodge and he showed me around.
There was a primary school, where I donated some things to. I just
got bothered by the bugs at night as there were no covers by the
old windows and caused me to have a uncomfortable sleep at night.
But that was not really tooo big of an issue as the experience I
gor from being in africa was much better and bigger!!!! |
