Reviews of Island Safari Lodge in Maun Botswana

We visited this lodge after spending time in the Okavango Delta. It was just like heaven. The rooms are sunny and spacious and decorated pretty. We had our own tv and air conditioning in the rooms and there was always flowers making it smell wonderful, and the showers had hot water. The swimming pool looked fantastic but i did not have the time to take a dip. and the food was great !!! The choice of the wine just blew my mind !! There was also monkeys and birds but they did not disturb anyone as they never got close. I really would have wanted to stay longer.

There are a lot of birds and monkeys to see here with the most beautiful views over the river and it is situated close to Maun. the rooms can use a bit of an upgrade, cleaning could improve, the rooms are very dark and they can replace the old shower certain with a new one. The staff is welcoming and the food is good. I like that they have free wifi. We had gone on a lovely horsriding trip for 2 houers and really enjoyed it. I would recommend this Lodge.
