I had gone on a self drive road trip to Botswana
and stayed in Northgate Lodge. Service was quick and I had booked
myself into a double room. The room was spacious and equipped with
a nice and comfy king size bed, a fridge and the bathroom was complete.
I even had my own personal veranda. I wouldn't see Northgate as
a lodge seeing as it is more of a motel. There is a swimming pool,
a bar and a restaurant. The power was cut of, but luckily the kitchen
is gas powered and there was no problem in having food at the restaurant.
The owners were very personal and friendly, gave us directions to
where the best wildlife areas are. The only thing that wasn't so
good was the lodge being close to the road so it was a little bit
noisy at times. |
