Chobe Safari Lodge is located on the beautiful banks of the Chobe River. The lodge offers you luxury accommodation and excellent service. Right on our doorstep is the meeting point of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.

River Rooms
The 22 luxurious River Rooms (with twin beds) overlook the Chobe River. All rooms are en suite (bath and shower), air-conditioned, and are equipped with a telephone, safe, fan, and satellite television.
Family Rooms
Family Rooms (with a second bedroom and bunk beds) are also available. All units have their own private patio.
Safari Rooms
The 46 safari rooms are a recent addition to Chobe Safari Lodge and are close to the main building. All are en suite (with bath and shower) and offer a telephone, air-conditioning, safe, and satellite television. Each safari room has its own private patio overlooking the Chobe River.
Rondavels
The 8 thatched rondavels are the traditional accommodation that made Chobe River Lodge famous. All are freestanding in the gardens of Chobe River Lodge next to the Chobe River, are en suite, and are equipped with ceiling fans.
Camping
The campsite at Chobe River Lodge sprawls along the banks of the Chobe River and offers excellent ablution facilities. Each site has its own power point, and the camp is designed so that you are always near to the ablution facilities.

Our new concept restaurant features the indigenous and rich flavours of Africa. A choice of English or continental breakfast is available. A light lunch à la carte menu or buffet lunch is offered daily.
Scrumptious buffet dinners include a wide variety of meals from exotic game meats, roasts, barbecues, stir-fries, Indian cuisine, or vegetarian dishes.
Cocktail Bar and Sedudu Bar
Two bars are located on the property, giving guests a choice between the Sedudu Bar, famous for its beautiful sunsets, or the Cocktail Bar overlooking the Caprivi Floodplains.

Game Drives
Game drives within Chobe National Park offer the opportunity to view abundant elephants and other big game species up close, with the possibility of encountering one of the large predators.
Game drives depart three times a day (approximately 3 hours in duration). Alternatively, there is an option to book a full or half-day drive with a picnic lunch.
Boat Cruises
Chobe River cruises offer some of the finest game viewing experiences in Africa. With over 80,000 elephants in the park alone, they are frequently sighted. Hippos, water birds, buffalo, crocodiles, and puku are also viewed from the river. Private cruises, led by our expert guides, are available throughout the day to suit your individual needs.
Fishing
Fishing for the legendary Tigerfish and several species of Bream not only provides an exciting fishing experience but also excellent game viewing (crocodile, hippo, elephant, buffalo) and birding. Equipment is provided, and a knowledgeable guide is on hand for all expeditions.
