About Mankwe Bush Lodge
The Mankwe campsites in the NG43 concession area are ideally situated for well-equipped 4x4 enthusiasts and campers. From the campsites, the Moremi Game Reserve and the Savuti area of the Chobe National Park can be visited for day trips.
Staying at Mankwe is like staying inside a game park as the animals move around freely, and there are no fences between the reserves and our area. You are in the middle of a wilderness conservation area. As soon as the wheels start turning, you are on a game drive.
Accommodation Available at Mankwe Bush Lodge
There are two different types of accommodation available while staying at Mankwe Bush Lodge:
- En-Suite Safari Tents
- Camping, which is more suited for campers who have all the necessary equipment themselves, starting with a 4x4 vehicle and the required camping gear.
Note: There is no electricity at our campsites or lodge.
Facilities Available
- Motorboats: We have two 9-seater motorboats for hire. The boats have padded bench seats, shade roofs for sun protection, and are hired out with drivers and fuel included. The drivers are all professional guides.
- Mokoro: Eight mokoros are available, each seating two passengers. Our polers are all professional guides who know the lagoons and channels of the delta. Mokoro excursions are only done in the shallow channels around the boat station and not to the islands.
