About Gae Self Catering
“Gae” is a Setswana word for “Home”. The name reflects the homely atmosphere at Gae, situated in Mogoditshane, originally a village but now an urban area in close proximity to Gaborone.
Gae Apartments are about 7 kilometres from the Gaborone city centre to the east, near Game City Mall and Commerce Park to the south-east, and only three kilometres from the renowned Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
We provide high-quality service, modern comfort, and excellent value-for-money accommodation.

About the Owners of Gae Apartments
Omolemo and William have travelled extensively as leisure and business travellers.
It was out of their passion for travelling that another passion was born – venturing into the hospitality industry.
Their travels have taken them individually and jointly around Botswana, to England, Lesotho, Mozambique, Scotland, South Africa (all provinces), Sweden, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, among others – and they are still counting.
They almost always lodged in a different establishment. Their experiences – both good and bad – informed their decision to venture into hospitality and the type of establishment to run.
Between them, they have more than twenty years of project management experience and over ten years of customer service experience.
Their mission is to help you feel at home at Gae, “your other home”. Gae was conceived with you – the discerning traveller – in mind, and for you.
