Where to eat and drink is a matter of mood and appetite—casually cool or a bit smarter—with light Euro-African cuisine, ideally suited to the climate, either from the buffet or à la carte, taken in the garden, on the pool deck, or in the candle-lit air-conditioned restaurant, embraced by moody African décor.

Rooms
No matter if you’re a business person seeking a comfortable and quiet place to rest after a hard day's work, someone participating in a meeting at our conference centre, or just passing through to one of the many National Parks and Game Reserves in the area, our individually styled rooms should suit your requirements.
We have single, double, and twin rooms, all readily available with private verandas overlooking our lawns and gardens. The guest rooms, all en suite, have been cheerfully decorated with an individualistic African theme, each with its own private veranda overlooking the lawns. The rooms provide contemporary facilities and fittings, including air conditioning, satellite television, and complimentary tea and coffee.
Chalets
- Two bedrooms, lounge area with a full digital TV service, kitchenette area with fridge, and complimentary tea and coffee.
- One bedroom is fitted with a double bed, while the remaining bedroom has twin beds.
- Air conditioning is installed.
The two-bedroom chalets sleep up to four persons, but with additional beds placed in the lounge for children, a family of up to six can spend a very comfortable night in one of our chalets.
If required, the double bed may be changed to twin beds, offering four single beds in a two-bedroom chalet. The chalets are detached with their own parking area, and we are confident that the chalet will provide you with a very comfortable and tranquil night’s rest.
Camping - Close to Nature
Drive in, cycle in, walk in—however you arrive, just pitch your tent and feel at home. Our spacious campground is a much-appreciated "home" for many individual travellers visiting the area, as well as overland adventure companies.
Choose a spot towards the river, watching the sun come up, or pick a place under or between some of the trees—there’s plenty around. Big vehicles are no problem—park under one of the big trees by the river and keep your vehicle in the shade all day long!
If you are unequipped, we have a special offer: stay in one of our pre-erected tents. They come with two beds, chairs, a table, power, and even a small covered veranda! Naturally, we have a very clean ablution block, plus laundry basins, a volleyball court, and a large swimming pool!
Activities at Sedia Riverside Hotel
Afro Trek Day Trips
AFRO TREK offers day trip game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles to the Moremi Game Reserve, situated on the north-eastern corner of the Okavango Delta.
Moremi Game Reserve is a pure wilderness area and one of Africa’s most scenic game reserves, with rich, green vegetation, palm trees, teeming birdlife, and a vast population of wild animals. The area has many different habitats, including floodplains, reed beds, and permanent wetlands, mopane forest, dry savannah woodland, and acacia woodland.
The lagoons and channels are part of the Okavango Delta system. Moremi is famous for its beauty and diversity of wildlife, which includes herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, many species of antelope, and, of course, the big cats.
Enjoy a picnic lunch under an immense leadwood tree on the edge of a floodplain and reflect on nature and its wonders. We depart from Sedia Riverside Hotel very early in the morning and return late in the evening.
