Tuli Wilderness Camp is located in the Eastern corner of Botswana in the Tuli Block.
About Tuli Wilderness Camp
Tuli is known as Botswana’s hidden gem and it’s no surprise why- it is very exclusive as it is on privately owned land, so when going on safari at Tuli Wilderness Camp, you will feel completely in the wild as you experience uninterrupted game viewing from our open safari vehicles.
We are extremely lucky to have passionate and very experienced guides, with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Along with game drives, we also offer bush walks, which gives guests the chance to get up close to some incredible wildlife and to understand all the ecosystems better as we tread lightly across the dusty earth.
Tuli Wilderness has 5 twin en suite chalets, so in total we can sleep 10 people. We accommodate guests of all ages.
We offer full board or self catering. The cost of your stay includes 2 activities a day, which can be game drives or bush walks.
Evenings are spent relaxing around a crackling campfire at the lodge area, under open and endless African skies above.
It is in a low risk malaria area, but we always say to check with your Doctor before travelling for professional medical advice.
If you are looking for an authentic, affordable and unique safari experience, then Tuli Wilderness Camp is the place for you!
The Northern Tuli Game Reserve covers an area of 71,173 ha and boasts the world’s largest elephant population on privately owned land providing phenomenal elephant sightings and fantastic photographic opportunities.
Lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted and brown hyena are amongst the many carnivore species that occur on the reserve.
Birding at Tuli Wilderness is excellent with over 350 species identified in the area.
Tuli Wilderness Camp is owner-managed and run by a passionate, conservation-focused team who have a wealth of experience in the southern African wildlife tourism, hospitality and training industry.
Enjoy guided game drives and bush walks in this magnificent corner of Africa, with endless opportunities for unparalleled game viewing and an authentic wilderness experience in the African Bush.
With 15,000 ha traversing rights and the sparse variety of vegetation covering much of the area (providing a long line of sight) first-class game viewing opportunities abound.
The arid habitat also makes spoor spotting and animal tracking easy and rewarding. Tuli Wilderness Camp borders on the Limpopo River in the south and on the Motloutse River in the east and many small tributaries of these rivers criss-cross the land in between.
The landscapes are diverse ranging from riverine forests through alluvial floodplains to Mopane field and interesting sandstone ridges and kopjes.
This range of eco-systems provides multiple habitats and thus a unique and diverse array of animal and birdlife.
The River and marsh are a perennial source of water to the reserve
and so game is present year-round, making this a wonderful area to visit
at any time of year.
