Desert Elephant Camp Damaraland

Damaraland is a beautiful region of Namibia with spectacular attractions to see, including the Brandberg. At Twyfelfontein - a world heritage site - a massive collection of ancient rock art can be seen.

The dry, barren landscape has a beauty of its own and breathtaking sunsets are to be enjoyed every single evening.

The Desert Elephant Camp has been developed between the towering boulders in the Twyfelfontein Valley.

Only a few campsites are offered, which gives privacy and exclusivity to those staying over. The well-adapted desert elephants roam the area and one shouldn’t be surprised if an elephant walks into the camp.

Desert Elephant Camp Accommodation

Seven shaded and spacious campsites are available to campers. Each site has a fireplace and preparation area while the shared facilities include ablutions and kitchen space.

Four of the campsites are larger to accommodate groups of up to 20 persons travelling together.
