Wheelwrights is a traditional tearoom and gift shop in picturesque
Abbotsbury village. For centuries it was a wheelwright's workshop,
until it became a glass engraver's studio with a national reputation.
Establishment owners Sue and Nigel Melville took over Wheelwrights
in 1996 and has gained a reputation on the strength of good quality
tea and coffee, home baking, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Wheelwrights Garden Room Accommodation
It was once the dormitory for apprentice wheelwrights, the room
has been completely refashioned into stylish, versatile and self-contained
bed-and-breakfast accommodation in a garden setting under a thatched
roof.
Comfortable and generous twin beds can be linked to form a super
king-size double bed.
The en-suite shower room and toilet has a monsoon shower, vanitory
unit basin and WC. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided,
along with a free cream tea on your arrival.
Flat screen TV with Freeview channels, a selection of DVDs and
internet access. Free off-street parking is available, and the garden
room has its own front door.
