Sympathetically converted from existing farm buildings in a courtyard setting, Forest of Dean Holiday cottages are in a peaceful setting away from roads and traffic, with their grounds bordering the Royal Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, an ancient oak woodland which is home to deer, goshawks and wild bore as well as many other birds and little animals.
Sheep have the right to roam freely under an ancient law, and life goes on at a leisurely pace. With direct access from the cottages into the ancient Royal Forest of Dean, our holiday cottages are the ideal base from which to enjoy the miles of woodland walks and other attractions on offer in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
Our holiday accommodation is also close to some of the best mountain bike trails and downhill trails in the country.
Our holiday cottages have one or two bedrooms, and sleep between two and five people, plus baby. With all the cottages near to each other, our holiday accommodation is perfect for extended families, friends and reunions.
There is a warm welcome for dog owners and their pets in the majority of our cottages although some cottages are kept pet-free.
All our holiday accommodation is centrally heated and well-appointed with co-ordinated soft furnishings, remote controlled colour TVs, Freeview and DVD players, and furnished patio areas.

The Cottage: This romantic little cottage, set in its own garden overlooking the paddock with the Forest of Dean and views of the River Severn beyond, is popular with couples all year round.
In summer open the stable door and enjoy sitting out in your own garden with patio, table & chairs and barbeque; in winter enjoy the realistic ‘living flame’ fire and also central heating keeps you cosy.
A 32” flat screen TV with integral DVD player and Freeview, together with a selection of books and games will entertain you when you are ready to relax.
Bath sheets, hand towels and bed linen are provided in all our cottages, and the beds will be made up ready for your arrival.

Swallow Cottage: Swallow cottage is a spacious ground floor cottage at the back of the central courtyard, with views into the Forest of Dean and close to the car park.
Centrally heated, double glazed, comfortably furnished and carpeted throughout. It is fully equipped for 2 people with TV with Freeview and DVD players, full size electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, and a selection of books and games.
Bath sheets, hand towels and bed linen are provided in all our cottages, and the beds will be made up ready for your arrival.
The interior of this cottage is all on one level with no steps inside. There is one doorstep outside.

Sunrise Cottage: Centrally heated throughout and comfortably furnished, this ground floor cottage with easy access and no steps inside, and parking outside the door, is ideal for both the able-bodied and less able.
The cottage is fully equipped for three people with TV, Freeview and DVD players, a selection of books and games, spacious bedrooms, and a shower room with electric shower.

Foxes Cottage: Foxes cottage is a light and spacious 2 storey cottage overlooking the paddock, with views of the Forest of Dean beyond. Centrally heated, double glazed, comfortably furnished and carpeted throughout.

Badgers Cottage: Badgers cottage is a spacious 2 storey cottage facing the central courtyard, with recently tiled living area and comfortable leather 3 piece suite.
Centrally heated throughout and fully equipped for 5 people. Facilities in the cottage include: TV, Freeview and DVD players, full size electric oven and gas hob, microwave, larder fridge, small freezer, dining table with five chairs.
