Just south of Hyde Park, Belgravia is one of the most beautiful areas in London. The local architecture cries beauty and class and stems form a period where wealth was overtly displayed in the character of one’s home. Although it has no administrative area, and therefore no official boundaries, it is usually described as from Knightsbridge in the north, (home of the world famous Harrods department store) to Pimlico Road in the south. Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marques of Westminster, once Belgravia, Londonowned most of the area.
