Welcome to the Old Rectory bed and breakfast. Built in 1866,
the Old Rectory is a superb example of Victorian Gothic architecture
and is now a beautiful family house set in its own grounds.
Situated amongst fields near the picturesque National Trust village
of Lacock in rural North Wiltshire, the Old Rectory offers a real
taste of country life and is ideally placed for exploring Wiltshire,
Bath, and the Cotswolds.
Visitors are welcomed into the Rectory's main hall which boasts
original Victorian tiles, stained glass windows, and elegant wooden
stair case.
The walls too are decorated with a collection of antique guns.
There are plenty of books and tourist information is available.

The Old Rectory Accommodation
The house boasts individually designed bedrooms, drawing room, dining
room, orchard, croquet lawn, and many original features such as
mullioned windows and an ecclesiastical bell!
The Old Rectory offers six large, elegant rooms: two with four
poster beds, three doubles, and one twin-bedded room. Each room
provides en-suite or private facilities, colour TV, hairdryer, and
hospitality tray. All our rooms have lovely views of the garden
or the orchard.
We welcome families with children over the age of seven. We do
not allow smoking in the Old Rectory. Downstairs, The Vestry - a
double bedroom - is ideal for the less-abled, with easy access from
our large front door, and an en-suite shower. The high ceilings
give an airy feel and there are beautiful views from the large windows.
