Glebe House is the only 4 Star Silver Award winning country house in the beautiful quiet rural location of Chittoe – a truly off the beaten track destination, but within easy reach of Avebury, Bath, Lacock, Stonehenge, Castle Combe, home to the Scropes for five hundred years, and many other exciting places to visit.
At Glebe House we are committed to delivering a Silver Award Standard of B & B and a memorable stay to the most discerning and demanding guests.
Staying at Glebe House our aim is to make your stay wonderfully relaxed and comfortable. All the beds have crisp white linen washed and dried in our own laundry.
We are passionate about providing local food for breakfast and dinner and sometimes a treat from the Glebe House garden.

Glebe House Accommodation
The Indigo Room: This room is in the blue wing of the oldest part of the house and is a double room with a dressing room and en suite bathroom with bath.
It is Indigo as a result of my journey to Jodhpur in India. There are many Indian and Asian treasures in this room. There is a birds’ eye view of the north part of the garden.

The Chateau Room: It called after the lovely collection of French Chateau prints. This is a twin room with linen sheets and a private bathroom.
The room has a lovely view of the field above the house often with lambs and sheep grazing peacefully.

The Green Room: This is in the Green Wing on the ground floor and is a twin room with linen sheets. There is an en suite shower room. The view is over the garden and the bird table which has many varieties calling in for food.

Directions to Glebe House
Glebehouse Chittoe is situated off the A342 between the junctions of the A3120 Calne/Melksham road. From the A 342 take the turning to Chittoe and Spye Park.
Continue over a small cross road and into a narrow lane. Glebe House is the second on the left, past the Old Vicarage – first on left. Our drive is to the left on a blind left hand corner and up a country lane.

For those using GPS, our post code is SN15 2EL. Your GPS should deliver you to the end of our drive. Turn left and drive past the house and pull in at the back of the house to find the front door.
