The Castle Hotel, in the picturesque Wiltshire town of Devizes, is a privately run 18th Century Hotel, situated near the banks of the Kennet and Avon Canal, famous for the flight of 29 locks over the 230 foot Caen Hill. Visitors from all over the world flock to the Kennet and Avon Canal to watch or participate in the famous Devizes to Westminster Canoes Race.

The Hotel consists of a variation of room types which include - Single, Double, Twin, Double executive, Family and a Family suite.
The 19 bedrooms were fully refurbished to a high standard with a contemporary feel that is appealing to young and old alike. The rooms are on the second and third floors.
All rooms have private bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards. Each room has a TV with Free view digital channels plus Sky One, Sky News and children's TV.
Free WIFI is available in all the rooms and on the ground floor in the Lounge, bar and dining area. We do not have the facility to add extra beds in our rooms, so please book the correct room for the number of persons you wish to accommodate.

By Car: The Castle Hotel is located 2 minutes from Devizes town centre on the A342 on New Park Street. It is 200 metres away from Wadworth Brewery which is sign posted by brown tourist signs.

By Public Transport: Regular bus links are available from Chippenham train station, route X33, Swindon and Trowbridge stations are connected to the Devizes by the Stagecoach 49 services.
All buses disembark in Devizes Market Place.
