Places to stay in Farnham CommonFarnham Common is a village in the parish of Farnham Royal, in Buckinghamshire, England, about 3 miles (5 km) north of the town of Slough, on the A355 road between Slough and Beaconsfield. It is to the north of the village of Farnham Royal, and adjoins the woodland of Burnham Beeches. Lois Allan invented Fuzzy Felt in her cottage in the village during World War II. The village church, dedicated to St John the Evangelist, celebrated its centenary in 2007 with a special programme of services, concerts and talks. |
