Places to stay in Hailey

Hailey is two miles to the north of Witney in West Oxfordshire, England. The Parish is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and includes Hailey, New Yatt, Poffley End, Delly End, Foxburrow and Whiteoak Green. Even though we are within touching distance of the historic mill town of Witney, the Parish retains its rural feel. Many of the houses were originally built in the 17th and 18th centuries and remain almost unchanged since then. The local limestone was used to build these properties and they remain attractive to the eye. Hailey village developed from a clearing in the forest of Wychwood and this gave the name of Hay Lea (meaning Hay Meadow in old English).
