The Cloudesley is an eco-friendly guest house with five boutique hotel rooms, luxury beds, offering calm and relaxation and no television.
Spa treatments and holistic therapies on offer include massage, reflexology, and reiki. Special diets are catered for including gluten-free, vegetarian as well as conventional cuisine for those who simply enjoy good food.
As far as possible, meals are sourced from local farms and organic when and where available. In the growing season, garden grown fruit, berries and herbs are offered to hotel guests.
Guest rooms have been painted in eco-lime wash and three large solar panels provide hot water for showers. Walls are hand painted in Eco-Lime wash, paint free of the harsh chemicals as used in conventional paints. Shampoos and soaps provided in the rooms are free of parabens and sodium lauryl sulphate.

Hafez
Super-King sized Ortho Gold luxury mattress on a contemporary four poster design bed, with a series of prints by George Stubbs.
Room dimensions are 5.7 x 4.5M excluding entrance or bathroom. Bath and shower in Rose Crema Marfil. The room has siberian goose down pillows or hypo-allergenic pillows on request.

Khayam
Another very comfortable King-size luxury bed, pocket sprung and orthodaedic. Siberian goose down or hypo-allergenic pillows on request.
Organic or Egyptian cotton linen is offered. The room, in a pale lilac grey, has dimensions approximately 4.5 x 3.6M excluding the shower room. Shower in noche travertine marble mosaic tiles.

Saadi
The room has a very comfortable top end king-sized contract bed, medium to firm, with 1500 pocket springs. Shower in noche travertine marble mosaic tiles.
Siberian goose down pillows or hypo-allergenic pillows is offered on request. Room dimensions are approximately 4.1 x 4.7M including the shower and cupboard.

Ferdosi
The room has a top of the line super king zip and link bed with 2000 pocket springs for ultimate comfort. This bed can be unlocked to create two single twin beds. Including the shower, room dimensions are 6.2 x 4.2M. Furniture is Victorian Gothic Revival and Ecclesiastical of similar period.
Rug is Persian of unknown origin. The chairs are in fact the same as used in my garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. Shower in noche travertine marble mosaic tiles. Siberian goose down pillows or hypo-allergenic pillows is offered on request.

Rumi
Double sized bed. The mattress in this room is a Chatsworth by Relyon, a 1254 pocket spring orthopaedic mattress of the highest quality from one of the top bed manufacturers, hand-manufactured with all natural fibres keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter.
Room dimensions are 4.5 x 4.0M including the shower room this is the smallest bedroom in the house. Nevertheless, it's very cozy and comfortable.
The specialist paint effect is in eco-lime wash, paint with none of the harsh or toxic chemicals of conventional paints. Shower room is in travertine marble mosaic tiles. Siberian goose down or hypo-allergenic pillows on request.
