Mitta and Roger Rowberry welcome you to the Swan House. Each of the three double guest rooms in this interesting house is set on a different level and each has its own entrance.
The rooms are distinctive and comfortable and offer a unique sense of warmth and seclusion. Only 15 minutes from the motorway we are situated in the rural beauty of the Herefordshire village of Tarrington. The church bells and the birds are the only sounds which might wake you in the morning.
We have plenty of parking and can offer secure garage space to bicycles and motorbikes, on request. Each morning you will find breakfast served in the dining room, where the irregular planks of the 17th century elm floor show the saw marks of the two handed pit saw and the leaded window looks out onto the cider apple orchards of Tarrington Court.

Swan House Accommodation
We have three rooms; all have double beds (but King Size duvets!) and full en-suite facilities. You will find tea and coffee and biscuits and we are happy to supply specialist teas or cold squash on request. We have recently upgraded to digital televisions with Freeview and integral DVD.
You will find comfortable seating, local information and a variety of books are available. Each of our rooms has its own access separate from the main house entrance. Business travellers will find all the comforts of home, early breakfasts.
Swan House benefits from excellent road and motorway connections within easy reach. We also offer Wi-Fi. Swan House offers accommodation to suit most requirements: we even have separate canine accommodation.
The Black and White Doghouse is available by arrangement to guests occupying The Courtyard Room.

The Garden Room: The Garden Room is a double room decorated in country style, situated in the small upper courtyard.
There is a large en-suite shower and comfortable seating. A matter of only 4 yards to the entrance to the house and thence the dining room, all under cover, it is suitable for our less mobile guests.

The Courtyard Room: Is a double en-suite room, with its own access and courtyard, which offers a unique sense of privacy.
There are steep steps to the upper house, or a few yards along the lane at the front of the house, for breakfast.

The Cider Store: Is sumptuous; filled with antiques, but none as ancient as the medieval porch door through which you can come and go at will. There is a roll top bath to soak in and heavy drapes give the room a cosy hush in which to relax. Within the house, yet hidden away, this room offers the ultimate in seclusion.
