The Petasfield is idyllically located just outside the market town of Hertford in Hertfordshire. Petasfield Cottages offer self-catering accommodation in the form of one and two bedroom cottages.
Converted from stables, the four charming and contemporary cottages boast all the facilities you would expect from a four star rated accommodation with special consideration being given to people with disabilities.
Access and facilities have all been designed with thorough practical consideration for people who use a wheelchair.

Acomb and Broadwater Cottages each have one bedroom while Ashwell and Smiths Cottages each have a double bedroom and a galleried second bedroom that also sleeps two.
Each cottage has a large comfortable sofa bed in the living area and the furniture can be arranged to suit your tastes so that you feel completely at home.
All four cottages have been designed with the needs of wheelchair users in mind and are fully accessible. Shower rooms have non-slip floors, wheel-in showers and self-propelled shower chair if needed. A wheelchair, hearing loop and walking frame are also available.
The high ceilings with skylights and French windows give a wonderful sense of space and really give the feeling of bringing the outdoors inside.

The kitchen of Broadwater Cottage has been designed for disabled people by Adam Thomas of Access Matters and there is an electric sink and hob riser giving wheelchair users complete independence.
