Ramblers - There are many pretty walks surrounding Hungerford and Freemans Marsh is of 'special scientific interest' which is renowned for is Bird and Wildlife.

The Kennet and Avon - There is a canal path that passes through Hungerford which has delightful walks and a cycle route. You can also enjoy a trip on the canal on a Narrow Boat.

Cycling - The Severn and Thames route passes through Hungerford (Gloucester - Newbury).

Horse Racing - Newbury Racecourse is 10 miles away or 2 stops on the train. Lambourn the Valley of the Racehorse is only 5 miles away.
