We are ideally suited to those travelling with or without a car. Kendal's bus station is 10 minutes’ walk away with local and national bus services.
The nearest bus stop is just less than 150 metres. Buses run every day including Sundays. Please ring the bell on arrival.

Hillside Bed & Breakfast is a Victorian town house (which is dated at around 1880) offering Visit Britain 4 Star Guest Accommodation consisting of:

- 1 Superior Single En-Suite

All of the bedrooms offer a remote control LCD TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, alarm radio, thermostatically controlled radiators and well stocked refreshment trays.
Complimentary refreshment trays are provided in all bedrooms (these include tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sugar and milk portions). We are happy to provide fresh milk on request. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers and reading lamps in each room.
Seating is available in each room. Our beds are made-up with white laundered cotton top and bottom sheets covered with synthetic duvets and topped with a bedspread. All pillows are synthetic filled (but feel like feather).
Extra pillows and blankets are stored (wrapped) in or on the wardrobe. Also available to our guests are hair dryers, clothes irons, drying facilities for wet coats and trays for muddy boots.
We have parking permits allowing guests to park outside the house for the duration of their stay.
