Wyreside Lakes is a family run business, situated in over 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme~lancashire.

On the estate there are 7 fishing lakes - with a superb stocking of coarse and pike and for walkers and those who appreciate nature, the River Wyre meanders through the property alongside the beautiful bluebell laden Fox’s wood.

Over the last 20 years the estate has been transformed by the Birkin family and now not only appeals to fishermen but also to families and couples alike who wish to have a relaxing break in a beautiful setting without having to travel long distances to Britain’s national parks.

The estate now boasts a recreational centre with a newly refurbished traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast, Scandinavian lodge self-catering facilities, a modern bar, restaurant and function room as well as a 4 star camping and caravanning site.

Also in the main building there is a small site camping and tackle shop, laundry room and a modern toilet & shower block.

Campsite: The award winning campsite has a full range of facilities for overnight stays including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motor homes and lush green fields for tents to camp on.

There is toilet and shower block, which are all free of charge to use, including a disabled / baby changing room and also an onsite shop and launderette.

For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate - Please note: the river Wyre runs adjacent to the wood and can be very dangerous.

Please do not allow your children to roam unattended or swim in the river. The nearest public swimming baths are at Garstang (5 min drive away).

Children are also allowed in the club house in the evenings (accompanied by their parents / guardians).

Bed and Breakfast: Sunnyside Bed & Breakfast is a 150 year old farmhouse typical of the Bowland area. Nestling in 120 acres of lakes and woodland and surrounded by the beauty of Wyresdale and the Bowland Fells. It is the perfect setting for a short break with walking or birdwatching or of course a fishing trip! The Farmhouse comprises of four comfortable non - smoking bedrooms - one room features an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are centrally heated, with warm beds, HD flat screen televisions and tea/ coffee making facilities. There is a dining area where you can read a book in peace or just relax and watch TV.
