You’ll never run out of things to do in Masham. As well as exploring the town and surrounding countryside, we have two weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays – a weekly market has been held here since 1250 AD in Yorkshire's largest Market Square.

Masham boasts not just one, but two breweries, both making real ales in the traditional way.

The Black Sheep Brewery and Theakstons Brewery both have excellent visitor centres and brewery tours.

See theMuseum of brewing and barrel making demonstrations at Theakstons, and the excellent Bistro at Black Sheep. Both offer their own range of brewery merchandise, and samples of their products are included in the tour ticket.

Masham Sheep Fair- end of September, an annual 2 day Sheep Fair. Masham Steam Engine and Fair Organ Rally- the third full weekend of July is an annual Traction Engine Rally that attracts Thousands of visitors every summer. The town has had a market charter since 1250AD. We have a twice weekly market in North Yorkshire's Largest Market Square.

Masham boasts 6 pubs and bistro bars and several restaurants and loads of art galleries, old fashioned sweet shops and a wonderful riverside walk.

Double en-suite bedroom: New for 2012, this tastefully refurbished room retains all the charm of a Grade 2 listed building and has the original beams and low doorway.

The en-suite facilities with bath and overhead shower are modern and stylish and are supplied Egyptian cotton towels and complimentary toiletries. The luxurious king size bed with Egyptian cotton linen adds a touch of luxury.

Family/Friends Suite: Our family and friends suite uses the lovely double bedroom with the king size bed, and our new twin room. Like the double room the twin has original beams and views of St Mary’s Church. The brand new beds are exceptionally comfortable.

The suite is located on the top floor of the house enabling guests to have a good night's sleep where the only sound to be heard is from St Mary's Church bells.

The two rooms share the bathroom and your party will have exclusive use of the top floor. Bedrooms are centrally heated and well lit with overhead lighting which can also be switched off by pull-switch over the bed.

There are bedside lamps in each room. Both of our bedrooms offer the following:

Twin Room: Our twin room on the second floor has the original beams and views of St Mary’s Church. The brand new beds are exceptionally comfortable.

The twin is located on the top floor of the house enabling guests to have a good night's sleep where the only sound to be heard is from St Mary's Church bells. The twin room has use of the house bathroom on the first floor.

The bathroom has a free standing bath and separate shower and is large and comfortable with radiator and additional wall mounted hot air heater.

The twin room is centrally heated and well lit with overhead lighting which can also be switched off by pull-switch over the bed, bedside lamps and offers the following:
