Neston is a small residential town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester. It is situated on the part of the Wirral Peninsula that remains in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Neston is known as the jewel in the crown of the Wirral in Cheshire. One of the main local attractions is Ness Botanic Gardens, the gardens are on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and are graded II. The Gardens have many specimen trees and flowers; they hold snowdrop walks during the flowering season. A short distance from the A540 Chester to West Kirby road, the historic market town of Neston nestles into the Cheshire countryside providing a peaceful setting for its regular, historic Friday market and its monthly Farmers’ market. Boasting more than 85 clubs, societies or activities the town caters for young and old alike. Its distinctive architecture is an indication of its historic roots and many of the old coaching houses provide for local pubs and places to eat.
