These condos, Maui Vista and Maui Banyan are the culmination of nearly 10 years of dreaming, planning, searching and finally buying. Marie personally handles most of the communication with guests, making reservations, arranging for payments. The only time you deal with anyone else is if you need something while on Maui and then you are being helped by our friend, Kelli.

Dreaming of Hawaii
Please consider staying at our lovely vacation condominium in sunny, South Maui. Located right across the street from Kamaole one beach, AKA Charley Young Beach, one of the best beaches on all of Maui. Remodeled and updated in 2007, including a new air conditioner, new paint, all new furniture, 2 quiet and VERY efficient ceiling fans, a flat screen Television with digital cable and comfortable island decor.

Brand new king size bed add in April 2010, new sofa bed in 2011, etc. Many of the prints hanging throughout were taken by us and show the incredible beauty that surrounds us on Maui. Go explore and find your paradise.

Maui Banyan-The Property
Banyan is a larger property than Maui Vista and is set up more as a resort property. It still feels very small and intimate, but extends further inland. Building H is the third building from the ocean, which provides great access. The walk through the grounds is lovely, with fragrant flowers, sparkling fountains and lush landscaping. It takes a brief 5 minutes to reach Kamaole two beach and you get to enjoy the property as you walk.

The lanai
The lanai looks over a grassy courtyard area with views south. To the left, you see the upcountry mountains, to the right you see a peek of the ocean. Also, the unit is just far enough away from both of the pools to not have noise, but be very convenient. The best thing about being in building H though, is the beach access. It just can't be any easier to get to the beach. You don't even have to drive. Grab your towel, walk out the door, take a short 5 minute stroll through the lovely Maui Banyan grounds, cross the street and you are there.

Kamaole two Beach
Kamaole two is a long stretch of beach, between Kamaole one and Kamaole three. All three beaches are known as great family beaches, but they each have unique personalities and strengths.

Kihei Information
Looking for more fun places to eat? One of our favourites on the island isn't in Kihei, but it is worth the drive. Over in Lahaina, take the last Lahaina exit from the highway and head back in towards Lahaina Town. On the left will be the Cannery Mall. On the right, just before the entrance to the Old Lahaina Luau is the Aloha Mixed Plate. This place is awesome! Again, a very casual place, but the food is worth it! The seating is all outdoor and faces towards the ocean with beautiful views. My favourite is the name-sake of the restaurant, the "Aloha Mixed Plate".


Surfing
Looking for surfing instead? No problem. Take a right when you leave Maui Vista and the next beach to your left (known as Cove Park) has plenty of the best beginner's waves around. From Maui Banyan, it is a bit further, but still very accessible. Look for Kihei Kalama Plaza on the in-land side of the road and Cove Park will be on your left. That is where you go to learn to surf in Kihei!
