The complex is situated on two acres of oceanfront property with fifty-six ocean-view units. The property is located on Maui’s leeward western shore, with views of the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai. The island of Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands at 727.2 square miles (1,883 km2) and is the 17th largest island in the United States.

The Mahina (“Moon”) Surf was established in 1969 as a condominium complex that featured individual owned units suitable for vacation rental. Many of our units have owners with over 2 decades of ownership and several have been passed down through families.

We are dedicated to maintaining a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for our rental guests and feature all non-smoking rental units and property.

Free WiFi or Wired Internet Access:

For those who travel with a computers, High Speed Internet Access is provided for your use at no additional charge in our condominium. Because many people these days like to keep in contact with their family, friends, or office, it is much easier and faster to use a high speed connection to the Internet.

You may connect the Ethernet cable directly to your computer or you may use an 802.11 wireless card (Wi-Fi or Airport card) if you have one in your computer. Of course the WiFi is compatible with iPhones, iPads or other smart phones or tablets.

High Definition Televisions:

The condominium has two high-definition flat screen televisions, a 47-inch is in the living room and 37-inch is in the bedroom. These televisions are connected to cable boxes which provide standard digital stations, music and radio stations, as well as high-definition stations.

One television is connected to a Blu-Ray DVD and the other television is connected to a HD DVD. They will play either HD or regular DVDs. A collection of DVD's is available for our guests at no charge.

One-Bedroom Accommodations

The Mahina Surf offers uniquely furnished vacation rentals along with their own Lanai overlooking the manicured landscapes providing the ultimate island experience.
All ground floor units have a single bedroom. From the private outdoor lanai including a patio table and chairs, guests are provided with easy access to the pool and barbecue area, along with sensational views of the Pacific Ocean. The one-bedroom unit is ideal for couples seeking a romantic retreat, or for a family of four on a vacation getaway.

Two-Bedroom Accommodations

Each two-bedroom unit is located on the second floor of the complex and offer breathtaking views of the beautiful pool and landscape from the lanai. Two-bedroom units can accommodate up to 6 people.
All units have fully functional kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator and appliances.
Breathtaking views are visible from the living room and lanai.
Upstairs bedrooms include a combination of king, queen, and twin beds in the bedrooms and queen sofa sleeper in the living room, which can accommodate up to 6 people.

Directions to Mahina Surf

Several airlines serve Kahului Airport (OGG) on Maui direct from the mainland and from other islands. Inter-island flights also serve the nearby Kapalua-West Maui Airport. A car is essential on Maui and it is best to reserve one before your arrival. To get to the Mahina Surf from the Kahului Airport, just follow the signs to Lahaina, taking Highway 380 from the airport to route 30. Turn left and stay on Highway 30 past Lahaina and the Kaanapali Resort. Turn left on Akalele Street (traffic signal), go to the end and turn right. The Mahina Surf is just on the left. The scenic drive takes about an hour.
