Located on the beautiful southern shore of Kauai, this was a very good overall value. Yes, there is a resort fee that includes parking, fitness centers, beginner scuba lessons, and two complimentary bottles of water. Is it worth it? Yes. Like Kauai itself, the resort offers quiet beauty without the bustling crowds of other tourist areas.
The open air lobby itself is gorgeous and welcoming, with beautiful tile work and an incredible light fixture. An appreciated perk is the dispenser of pineapple flavored ice water.

Rooms
Sheraton Kauai Resort's 394 rooms, including 11 suites, are housed in eight four-story buildings. Grouped together in three different locations in the 20-acre resort, the room categories are identified according to the primary view, e.g. Garden View, Partial Ocean View, Deluxe Garden and Deluxe Oceanfront. Bedding choices are either King or (two) double beds. More than half of the rooms can connect to another room or suite.
