King Nehale Lodge

The cultural heritage of the Aawambo people is clearly depicted at this luxurious lodge on the Andoni plains, which is situated in the King Nehale Conservancy, on the border of the Etosha National Park.

Exclusivity is the key at King Nehale Lodge with private access to a remote waterhole in Etosha, at the Ontalelo Outpost. The Lodge is 1 km from Etosha's new King Nehale Entrance gate on the northern side of the park.

The chalets - laid out in the shape of a Nguni cattle head - are something special to behold, with each chalet having its own plunge pool and shaded patio with comfortable loungers where you can soak in the views over the Andoni Pan, grassy plains, Baobab and Palm trees and spectacular African sunsets.

Forty chalets, draped in colours representing the culture of the Oshiwambo ethos and decorated with typical embellishments and ornaments, complement the style and heritage of the local people. Twin Rooms

The 26 Twin rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and are furnished with two three-quarter beds, accommodating a maximum of 2 adults. The en-suite bathrooms add to the comfort and guests can enjoy the stunning views of the Andoni Plains either from the bed or the private veranda, which also boasts a mini-pool. Additionally, breakfast is included in the nightly rate.

14 of the chalets can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children on a king-sized bed and 2 twin beds or on a sleeper couch. Spacious and stylishly decorated, these rooms also have a couch or sofa bed. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower only and each unit has a private veranda with its own mini-pool. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate.

Guests at King Nehale have exclusive access to a secluded, private waterhole in the Etosha National Park to the south of the Lodge. This waterhole is reserved for Etosha King Nehale guests only and has an enclosed hide for leisure game viewing. To the north, the conservancy is surrounded by the pulsating life of the communal areas of the peoples of Owamboland.
