This friendly lodge is situated next to a small lake, close to the reserve entrance and has a wonderful view facing the forest. The Hotel Feon’ny Ala is situated at the edge of Andasibe National Park, so that you are as close to nature as possible! Whilst simple it offers value for money and is a good choice for serious nature lovers due to the fact that it is located at a good starting point for night walks which are very popular. In the morning listen out for the call of the Indris in the nearby forest whilst sitting out on the wooden terrace.

Lemurs, including indris, can often be seen directly in front of the lodge. The thatched bungalows are basic but comfortable, while the often vibrant restaurant serves good food.

Please note as the lodge is basic and at altitude it can get very cold in the winter - it's therefore a good idea to come well prepared.

Of the 40 A-framed bungalows, there are 6 doubles with shared bathrooms for the budget-conscious traveler. As you wake up, you can listen to the call of the Indri Indris – the largest species of lemur, and a resident of Andasibe.

The large restaurant provides good local food, and is great for group bookings.
