The Emperors grand tomb is about 20km outside of the city you can get there
by hiring a motorbike and driving yourself, or hire a bike with driver or
by taxi and most hotels can arrange trips. On the outside the tomb is guarded
by stone warriors with pagodas and courtyards and steps all very drab and
dull but inside it is decorated and ornate, a telling contrast between those
who have and those that have not?
Featured in various Vietnamese songs and poems, Thien Mu Pagoda has become
an essential part of Hue City. With the symbol of the octagonal 21-meter-high
tower, the pagoda is the perfect combination of artificial architectural work
and picturesque nature.
Everywhere you look in the Hue you will spot old temples, pagodas or gates many temples and pagodas are still being used as places of worship, so be respectful, you may vist some of them but please obey rules and be quiet.
